It's also true, Kenneth436, that prior to 1913 this nation had no large standing army, as we do today. The Randians, unlike libertarians, want a huge military complex. Rand called libertarians the 'hippies of the right.' I heard a Randian on TV awhile back saying that we have the right to nuke Iran. As the Randians want a large military, and seeing as how the Constitution says that the military is a federal function, how do Randians propose to pay for it? Donations?
