For sure, life is complicated. And, when governments enter the fray and attempt to define the parameters, things can get really complicated. I personally have a Medicare Advantage plan with Humana, under which the $99 or so removed from my SS benefit each month goes to Humana, and except for modest co-pays for Hospitals, Urgent Care, Specialists, and Drugs, everything else is free. Of course, I understand that, thanks to Obamacare, this all might change in 2014.
