Sounds like a sterling idea to me. Someone close to the president who knows and understands business would be ideal; the president needs a business-oriented perspective. Wait, I thought we already had a Commerce Department. By the way, does anyone know who the Secretary of Commerce is? I don't--he or she must keep a low profile, since the last significant thing he or she was responsible for was the 2010 census.
