It's ok to rag on Bush about his "nucular" pronounciation, however, let's not forget one of our "smartest" presidents ever, Jimmy Carter, pronounced it "nucular" during the Carter/Reagan debates and he was a nuclear engineer.

I agree completely. I've been telling people this for years. It is a disgrace that my representative's district covers half of a huge metropolitan area and over 700,000 people. The chance of me having any personal interaction with our local representative is virtually zero. This is why the house is not responsive to the people.
