Philosophical Gap on Health Care

Kenneth137 Wrote: Sep 10, 2009 9:06 PM
You prove my point. It government dictates and its failure to enact tort reform that is driving the rapid rise of health care. It is the government that established and keeps expanding medicare. Medicare is sucking us dry. As for the elderly, the WWII generation has turned out to be the greatest generation of leaches in the history of the country. Palin's idea of vouchers while flawed is a good start at weaning people off medicare and restoring some kind of sanity to healthcare spending

Philosophical Gap on Health Care

I agree that something has to be done to curb the rise in healthcare costs. I view the government as the least likely avenue to accomplish that. When Obama claims he'll save billions by cutting waste he is either a liar or a fool. Saying that the public option will be run like medicare proves that. Medicare is getting ripped off for billions and the government can't control that. I've had numerous dealings with the government in my business. The regulations and lack of incentives has turned the bulk of the bureaucracy into unmotivated paper pushers who are more worried about their pensions than efficiency. To expect government employees to manage anything better than the private sector is foolhardy. Keep the government away from our...

Listening to a Liar: Part II

Kenneth137 Wrote: Sep 10, 2009 4:51 PM
Lying is Obama's stock and trade. As professor Sowell points out Obama has consistently done the exact opposite of what he says. He thinks we're all as ignorant as the morons that elected him. Even they are starting to catch on.
What I'm really disappointed in is the Republican parties failure to shout Obama down when he went on his lying spree last night. Joe Wilson should have stood there and called Barack on every lie he told. Everybody is so concerned with civility. We are way beyond that now. When the President, and his party, attempts to subjugate the people through lies and misrepresentations he must be shouted down. When Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, ACORN and the SEIU attempt to muscle liberal doctrine down the peoples throats...

Paul Ryan vs. Barack Obama

Rep. Ryan and all tax over haulers are whistling in the wind. The democrats will never cut entitlements because it would eliminate their reason for being. If we don't cut entitlements taxes can never really go down only up. So lets make the hard working support the leeches in the style they want to become accustomed to. After all they're Americans they deserve it.

Is Health Care a Right?

Kenneth137 Wrote: Mar 10, 2010 7:42 PM
There is no right to health care. I feel sorry for last man standing but that is his problem. Get your family members to pony up. My father is 84 has incurable cancer and gets $2,000.00 of chemo weekly. Does it make sense to force others to pay for a treatment that has no chance of succeeding? I hate Obamacare but if it cuts off money for hopeless cases so be it.

The Rise of the Mob Economy

Yes they answer to the government in perpetuity or until, they pay back the money. When you eat at the trough you can't complain about whats in the slop. Feinberg's attempt to tie pay to performance is admirable and other companies should follow his example. As for setting precedents, the amount of money the people are going to lose when GM & Chrysler go down is going to be unprecedented.
Mona,
Get real, money talks and that's the bottom line. The lawyers have the Dems in their pockets and will never tolerate tort reform. Obama goes where the moneys at. Why else would Pharma and the like be supporting him.

Sen. Bunning: 'Paygo Means Paygo'

Finally a politician who will stand up and say enough is enough. Reid and his ilk are throwing the country down the toilet. One must ask what motivates politicians who know they are destroying there countries greatness and do it any way. Perhaps Jim Bunning can help expose these criminals before its to late.

Has Obama Lost White America?

Kenneth137 Wrote: Jan 22, 2010 8:52 PM
Anyone with a brain can figure out Obama's agenda. The white man must pay for the poor exploited black man. T^he health care legislation is just another case of the Democrats reaching into the middle classes pockets to pay for the underclass. The people in Massachusetts finally woke up to the fact that Obama and his party are all about buying minority votes with the middle classes money. As soon as the blue color workers realize they are the middle class Obama and the Dems are done and good riddans to bad rubbish. What has always amazed me is how the black middle class allows themselves to be exploited .

The Race "Wall"

Kenneth137 Wrote: Jan 18, 2010 12:18 PM
I was pleasantly surprised to read that black and white values are so close. That narrowing gives me hope that Black Americans are moving forward. In order to surmount the wall will require new black leadership. The old civil rights crowd has to much invested in the victim role to change direction. If blacks want to reach the next level they'll have to break the bonds of low expectations their leaders and the democrats have lead them into. Good luck with that.
