When I look at the liberal women in America that are held up for our younger generation as role models it saddens me. Thatcher had more integrity than all of them combined yet she is villified, mostly by people too young to have ever seen or heard her speak. They've been taught to despise her by people who are supposed to be preparing them for a better life.

This is no surprise. Great leaders are commonly vilified. Thatcher's condemnation comes as no surprise, in SPITE of her exemplary record.

Margaret Thatcher has left us.

Other than Winston Churchill, she was the finest leader to come out of Europe in the last century. She helped Britain recover economically, she stood shoulder to shoulder with Reagan against the Soviet Union and she set a fine example not just for Brits, not just for women, but for everyone to follow.

If we had more leaders with Margaret Thatcher's heart, courage and wisdom, this would be a different, better world.
