The Republican establishment has shown nothing but disdain for conservatives. Exactly why I no longer open my wallet to them. Supporting candidates like Chafee, McCain, Graham, Spector, Murkowski, and on and on. Add to that the fact that Boehner donated to the campaign funds of RINO's the Tea Party was trying to unseat and it becomes clear. I've been a registered Republican since I was first able to vote. The first time I voted I did so for Reagan for Governor. Ronald Reagan made me a Republican but I no longer call myself one.

It was just a matter of time. Charlie Crist is becoming a Democrat.

Crist — Florida’s former Republican governor who relished the tough-on-crime nickname “Chain Gang Charlie” and used to describe himself variously as a “Ronald Reagan Republican” and a “Jeb Bush Republican” — on Friday evening signed papers changing his party from independent to Democrat.
