Rick Perry is obviously dumb. He evidently thinks the common people in this country are smart enough to manage their own lives. Gosh, the only President I can think of that was that dumb is Ronald Reagan. God (or your chosen higher power) forbid we should have somebody like that in the White House.

People like these slime bags should be introduced to Mr. Twelve Gauge and his friends the double 0 buck family. It is easy to wax philosophical after the fact about whether or not the death penalty is an effective deterrent to this kind of crime. As for me, I would prefer an armed citizenry trained in the use of their weapons.

I recently watched a series of Margaret Thatcher speeches on Youtube. Republicans and those that believe in the free market would do well to study her style. She speaks with clarity about these issues.
