Yeah, that's what I have heard too. Plus, it is difficult to measure or calculate the earth's average temperature. Certainly not to a hundredth of a degree. I can't even do that in one room. But calculating the average is so diffucult that I do not believe any of these fellows are bright enough to do it correctly. I am reasonably sure that I couldn't.

I guess you can't use a spread sheet to add and average numbers that come into a database. I have been doing that since 1990 or so on an old IBM PS/2. I also believe that much of the "science" is politically driven, but some of the comments are a bit out there. We have tools to help us calculate averages.
