Why Hasn’t Brian Ross of ABC News Been Fired?

He has not been fired because either his bosses are just as liberal as he is, or, he's under contract, and if terminated prior to the contract's expiration, he could sue the socks off ABC.

Not if he's fired for wilfull misconduct. And since he said on air, something like "I know I shouldn't say this, but...." that's as good as a confession.

Let the axe fall!

There has to be something in the contract about reporting integrity.

"Reporting" and "Integrity" in the same sentence? Not with ABC, CBS, NBC or MSNBC. Hasn't been since the days of Conkite -(yes, I spelled it that way deliberately... I used to listen to him)

Dear Water Skier:
Surely you jest, or maybe you got pulled under for too long and are suffering from Oxygen deprivation.

Remember Howard K. Smith? He was the only anchor worth listening to in that long-ago era. And, he had enough guts to be in Berlin on the eve of WWII. In fact, check out "Last Train from Berlin," the only book he wrote, but a very good journalist's view of REAL life in Berlin after the fall of France and before Pearl Harbor.

I try not to spend too much time complaining about media bias, mostly because it doesn’t do any good.

But I have had a couple of posts about the topic, usually when there’s a hopelessly outrageous example on an issue I care about.
