Just because a president manages to scrape together a second term win doesn't mean that he is a successful. Popularity is not a sure sign of a good president, and in the case of Obama with the massive cheating that went on last year we can't even be sure that he truly won. The damage the Obama has wrought upon our nation is on par with both Pierce and Buchanan. We never truly recovered from the last recession thanks to bone headed and ham fisted policies that time has shown never ever work. Unemployment is high (though thanks to the way the government reports it the true rate is much higher than the official rate), and inflation is rampant (again the government misreports it). The nation is sick and falling apart like in 1860.

Now while it's true that the Republican Party has its faults and in its imperfection can't qualify at being the "Party of God," it sure is far closer to our Creator than the Democrats.

I agree with your analysis of Mormons-- they aren't Christian even though they claim to be. That being said, which would you prefer as president, a Mormon who while not Christian at least shares our Christian morality and loves America or a Marxist Muslim who hates America and is attempting to change it into a third world hell hole. This election is too important harp on points of theology. We are not electing our pastor but the President of the United States. This country will not survive another four years of Obama. Obamacare alone will ruin this country. It must be repealed and it won't so long as Obama is president. Obamacare delenda est!

I'm so sick and tired of people trying to claim that Obama is a "nice" man but merely incompetent. Frankly I think he's just plain evil. It should be obvious to all that he's got a really mean streak, that he's a narcissist and thinks only of himself. His first thought upon hearing our Libyan ambassador was murdered was to jet off to Vegas. His number one priority is raising money to get himself re-elected. Doing the job to which he was elected is not even close to his radar screen.

Remember the old saying, "It takes one to know one." The Democrats seem all too familiar with Fascism as frankly their policies differ very little for Hitler's corporate socialism (see the GM takeover). Note also Obama's scarcely hidden contempt for Jews and Israel. How ironic that Dems compare conservative Republicans to Nazis all the while promoting policies similar to Hitler's.

I just came back from a visit to Russia. The country seemed to be in some respects more propserous that we are here. From what I'd heard about Putin being a budding dictator I expected to hear no criticism broached, but people seemed free to speak their mind about him, negative or positive. Yet here some folks are afraid of criticizing The Annointed One for fear of being thougth "racist."

While I believe we should concentrate on economic issues in this campaign, we need not completely ignore the social issues. Does anyone really believe that abortion and "gay marriage" are all that popular that we can't oppose them?

Gingrich would have made a far, far better president that Romney. At least he's a true conservative, not the faux Romney variety. It's amazing how many people have been suckered into thinking Romney is a conservative. He's conservative only in comparison to Obama.
