This is probably the worst article Ann Coulter has ever written--and in many cases I'm a fan of her stuff (when her Yankeeism doesn't shine through, as it has here). Do you really think we should ignore suffering in other countries? Do you really think we should focus evangelization on the rich and powerful and ignore the poor and suffering in other lands? If so, I suggest you read up a bit before telling the rest of us what Jesus would want.
Why help your neighbor when you could help your family? Why love others when there's things ~you~ need?
Those of y'all screaming the most vicious slander you can think of.... what do you propose they do? Should Israel pull out the settlements? Will that give them peace? No--they did that in Gaza in 2005, leaving a thriving export industry that the palestinians destroyed before launching rockets at Israel's civilian population. Should they revert to the pre-1967 borders and let the palestinians form a state of their own? They've offered that three times in the last decade and a half--and each time, the palestinians responded with more terrorism. Should they simply stop fighting back? They offered a ceasefire just the other day--it took less than two hours for Hamas to break it. Should they simply disband the nation of Israel? Well, they haven't tried disbanding--but they've tried not being a nation before , and they were still the victims of countless terrorist attacks by the palestinians. Should they all move somewhere else? Currently, they're suffering from persecution--almost all of it at the hands of muslims--everywhere in the world. Synagogues are being attacked by mobs in Paris, screaming "Kill the Jews" and "Hitler was right." In Germany mobs are chanting "Jew, cowardly pig, come on out and fight." An anti-semitic "demonstration" in Canada ended with several Jews beaten badly. Even in America, formerly the Jews' best refuge (but alas, America is not the nation it once was) Jews were beaten by a crowd of muslims in Boston, shouting such little pleasantries as "Jews back to Birkenau." Leaving the Middle East will not make Jews safe from violence, and particularly not from muslim violence.
Government did not work better in the industrial age. Government sponsorship of the railroads produced was was called "the Era of Good Stealings" and later brought us the "Gilded Age," as corruption and mercantilism became the order of the day.

Why Won't Obama Just Leave Ukraine Alone

It's a good thing there weren't so many people like Ron Paul around in the leadup to World War II. We'd be looking across the Mexican border at German troops, with Ron Paul telling us to "de-escalate."

Nixon -- Before Watergate

Let's also note that the offense Nixon was impeached for sounds about like the first half-hour of Obama's presidency.
Grant also resorted to terrorism to win his war. Not exactly the example for our guys to follow.

Texas Shows the Way on Abortion

Planned Parenthood keeps insisting that abortion is just like any "other" medical procedure... but when people try to put it under the same scrutiny as real medicine, they pop a hemorrhoid.
He voted against the Iron Dome because it'll save Jews, and islam is against that.
Exactly. Barney Frank fought tooth and nail--and lied shamelessly--to protect the corrupt institutions that brought us the recession.
Well, you also shouldn't run a prostitution ring out of your own house.... But yeah--blind pigs, acorns, all that.
