Obama's Biggest Fail Yet

I have to disagree about Obama. He didn't ~fail~ to bring racial reconciliation--he didn't bring it about because he didn't want it. Racial tension is useful. Racial guilt put him in office, and racist accusations have kept him from being impeached like any white president would have been. why would he try to remove an advantage like that?
Actually, I suspect that the investigations ~will~ be swept under the rug--the moment they prove that Wilson acted in self-defense.
This isn't just narcisissm, folks. If the Democrats win a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, he can appoint whatever judges he wants. That means the Constitution will virtually disappear. Conservative judges who die or retire will be replaced by utter socialists, and liberal judges can safely retire, secure in the knowledge that Obama won't appoint anyone who has actually read the Constitution to replace them. It's through federal judges that the Left is foisting most of their policy on America, so this is vitally important.

Please, Janet Yellen, Shut Up

Yellen's right in that Europe funds schools via national tax... But what she conveniently forgets is that the money is attached to the child, not the school. Private schools, charter schools, religious schools, whatever you want for your child, it's covered. In other words, public schools have to ~compete~, which is the one idea that utterly terrifies the Left.
This really needs more backup. Doubtless people who work with AI and pioneer the field know exactly what the possibilities and ramifications are... Those of us who barely know HTML are sitting here going "whoa, hold on a sec...."

And speaking of trying to replace Bush with McCain.... In 2000, the Left tried to get McCain on the ticket instead of Bush. In 2008, the nominee was Bush. This is a swing to the right?

More importantly, the last 25 years have shown us a pattern. Reagan was a sharp move to the right, with his attacks on our socialist-lite tax system and our government's cowardice in the face of communism. We won. Bush Sr. moved to the Left, breaking his "no new taxes" pledge and refusing to condemn Ruby Ridge. We lost. Gingrich moved sharply to the right again, with a conservative "contract with America" promising to restore many of Reagan's victories. We won. Dole (castigated by Gingrich as "Tax Collector for the Welfare State" signified a swing to the Left--Clinton won the election despite his laughable corruption and the Democrats picked up a majority in the Senate. We lost. Bush didn't really represent a swing to the right--but he was paint that way, as an arch -conservative who would turn the country into Somalia (Of course, Somalia was ruined by a socialist regime, but let's not let facts get in the way of a good attack) and establish a theocracy. The left tried to use loopholes to give McCain the nomination instead, because they hated Bush so much. We won. Bush turned out to be rather leftist for a Republican, with his massive medicare package and his attempts to pass amnesty--and the Senate and eventually House and White House went back to the Democrats. We lost. The Tea Party, fighting major opposition in our own party and virulent slanderous hatred from the Left, dragged the Republican party kicking and screaming back to conservatism, resulting in historic House gains. We won. And the Left tells us that we need to swing to the Left if we want to win elections. Oh no, B'rer Fox, not in the briar patch.....

I've heard this before--the idea that Reagan is too far to the Left for the GoP.... no matter how many times I hear it, it never grows less ridiculous. Seriously--the people that put up McCain and Romney are too ~conservative~ for the Gipper? Not only did Reagan slash taxes and attack our enemies (to the utter fury of the Left) but he never went off the offensive, vigorously attacking the Left on every point, challenging the communists both here and abroad on issues they had previously thought were secure victories. Reagan made mistakes, certainly--and as conservatives, we have no trouble admitting that; because we already HAVE a Messiah, we don't have to make one out of our political leaders like the Left continually does--and many of those mistakes involved compromises with the Left, but to claim that he was a "centrist," or that he was liberal compared to the Republicans of today is to demonstrate a profound and deliberate disconnection with reality.

If Romney wins the nomination, we'll lose. He won't have anything to really distinguish himself from Hillary's litany of "free" gifts, and the Paul-Aid Drinkers will actively sabotage his campaign to punish the rest of us for not electing some anti-American 9-11 conspiracy-theorist

I'm no fan of the CDC... But 99.5 ain't nothin'. The picture being painted here is that she was about to fall over with her brains cooked, and that just isn't the case.
My question is just what church let this guy in the doors.
