I agree. Just reporting what the Dems say isn't good enough in any article. You have to also mention the counter-side. Namely, they haven't cut squat. KenC

Under Obama's plan, cuts come in the years after he will have left office. Those supposed cuts will be reductions in increases in the years 2016-2022. Future presidents and Congress will not be bound by law to follow these recommendations. Kick that damned can down the road again and again. Amidst all the divisive talks that have occurred over sequestration, one fact has become abundantly clear: Democrats want to increase revenues. With Friday’s budget cuts set to take effect and a looming government shutdown March 27th, notable Dem leaders have hinted that any progress will have to start with more taxes, Politico reports:
