He should have taken a couple of economics classes at Chicago's business school. That might have proven instructive for him.

"Purloin the election for George W. Bush?" HER OWN PAPER, together with the Washington Post and Miami Herald, was given the opportunity to count those ballots themselves, and THEY concluded that Bush had indeed won the election! The "Republican majority" did it? Interesting; I never knew that Mr. Justice Breyer was a Republican or that Mr. Justice Stevens was a Democrat!!! (That's because they weren't.) Forget whatever else the woman is--she is a liar who plays the public for fools.

Very simply, ordinary people, including most conservatives, do business with those whose product and service they like; they don't want politics to interfere with that. If they want a McDonald's hamburger, they will get a McDonald's hamburger; if they want a Coca-Cola, they will get one. It is the dedicated ideologues who get involved in boycotts. Outside the South, you can't get enough sufficiently political conservatives to boycott anything to have any effect.

Oh, earth was a Garden of Eden. But that was before the Fall; now, by the sweat of our do we eat our bread. That requires energy, from the wood fires of early humanity to coal, gas, oil and nukes today. With the fall, death came into the world, which meant disease. And yes, that means that we couldn't survive in the pristine wilds--post-Eden, lions eat us, mosquitoes bite us, and bacteria infect us. That means that we do the things we have to do to control disease--and if that makes the Anopheles mosquito an endangered species--GOOD!!!
