I am unsure what exactly your point is. You ask if we should accept that judges have "bias" - I say what other choice is there? Judges are humans just like everyone else and thus fallible. I don't pretend to like it, but humans are human. You can't get around that. There is only one infallible Judge but He doesn't sit in any of our courts. Which is why there are appeals courts and why the Supreme Court has a plurality of judges instead of a single judge. Clearly our Founding Fathers understood this principle. A judge could make an unjust decision thus we have appeals court. They also understood that single person in the highest court of the land was a bad idea because a single judge may judge badly based on his/her innate bias...

Frankly, I do not have a problem with the MSM having a leftist bias. I have HUGE problem with the MSM pretending to be "objective" when they are not. NO ONE is truly objective because when we make decisions, we all bring our own world view, experiences, etc. with us. Since it is not humanly possible for a single person to cover every story out there, that person must DECIDE what story to cover and DECIDE which facts are relevant and which are not. That's a fact but it doesn't make you a bad person; pretending that it isn't a fact and that you're somehow above the decision-making process that rest of us mere humans must use does. I think it would benefit everyone if the masquerade of "objectivity" were dropped and journalists would...

AMEN Bro Harry! Hate is hate and racism is racism regardless of who the haters are and the targets of the hater's racism and it is flatly unacceptable. Why would these men want to lower themselves to the level of the KKK? How does that right the wrongs of the past?

Robert- Your rant stands reason on it's head. I have no problem whatsoever with the NEA supporting in your words "Perfectly legitimate things which no one could object to like symphony orchestras, opera companies, ballet, and legitimate theater." But this trash is the Lady Gaga equivalent of "art". If this is what constitutes "art" today, then I should get a check from the NEA every time I perform my normally bodily elimination functions.

Nam65-66 If our elected representatives are not there to do the will of the majority of the people who sent them to Washington to represent them, what is the point of having an election to decide who we will send to represent us? "To the best of their ability" does not mean that they have the right to completely ignore the will of their constituents. They are there to serve us; not the other way around.
