The Tea party here isn't dead, although they have lost focus a bit, but lower taxes and spending is still the topic every Thursday when we meet although the 2nd amendment is strongly supported, During this last election many of our politicians came to speak to our group. oddly every one who did won election, but then again this is Arizona .... "No brag, just fact."

We haven't lost focus, we were just inundated in this last election....we are regrouping right now and working on getting our message of smaller government, lower taxes, Constitutional governance to America. When we first started, we were laughed at by the Democrats, now they fear us and the only weapon they have is negative talking points, but we are still here and working to bring America back to their senses before our Republic is lost and the economic collaspe hits. Wake Up America, you got took.

A new poll by Rasmussen Reports found that only 8% of Americans now identified themselves as members of the Tea Party.  While that still equals more then 25 million people, this is a startling drop from the 24% who answered same question just 4 years ago.  Of course, the liberal media in this country were first to publicize the poll results.  I could almost hear the chorus of left wing politicos singing, “Ding Dong the Tea Party is Dead,” while giving each other high fives.

Why would someone identify himself or herself as a Tea Party member these days with a label...
