Good Intentions Do Not Always Make for Good Results

Maybe the government should issue a license to allow people to get a credit card! :) Some people are just too uneducated to be allowed to have one. They are "abusers!" Let's have a free market here. If the card companies make too many bad deals they lose money have to jack up their rates and become less competative. If the borrowers fail to pay and go bankrupt, that's their problem. Sarah should save her sympathies for people that get into bad situations through no fault of their own. I know, people get sick and can't pay their bills and need credit, but that is not the general case, which is spending well beyond their means to repay.
