Other details left out is that after Romney left in 1999, Jonathan Lavine took over as Managing Director of Bain and was responsible for all decisions made concerning GST Steel. GST Steel was in trouble prior to the sale of the company to Bain in 1993 and was pushed out of business due to overwhelming foreign steel and a very greedy (and ignorant) union Local 13, United Steel Worker of America. Went on strike in Apr 97 and forced an agreement in Jun 97, winning major concessions in ALL areas. Lavine is also one of Obama's biggest corporate bundlers and financier's, raising nearly $200,000 this year alone. Freakin' Liar!!!!
