Carney is such a pansey. Facts are defined per Merriam Webster definition #4 a: something that has actual existence b: an actual occurrence The actual comment Carney should have made is "at the time we had a different version of the events not based in facts but hey it's our version".

During a press gaggle on board Air Force One this morning in Virginia Beach, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney accused Mitt Romney of "politicizing" the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in reference to pressure from the campaign to come clean about what really happened.
