Just because we are not mainline Christian doesn't mean we are not Christian. Maybe we are more Christian than all the rest because we have the testimony of Joseph Smith, a prophet who has seen God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. They told him directly what correct doctrine was and how He wanted His church organized. There was no need to tease answers from a collection of sometimes cryptic messages written down millenia ago that may or may not be correctly translated or even complete. Haven't we all longed for that from time to time - that He would just tell us what he wants instead of us having to guess? The only way to know for sure is to pray about it. Do you dare??
