Has anyone asked, How many guns that are used in Murder are registered under existing laws. Is Costas saying he believes in the 2nd amendment however only law enforcement is allowed to have guns.

not necessarily registered, because most US states DON'T have registration, but LAWFULLY owned guns.
IIRC,most guns used (in the US) criminally were not legally owned or possessed by the violator.
People who have concealed carry permits are the most law-abiding segment of society, proven over many years of CC and extremely low rates of permit revocation,in EVERY US state that issues permits.

That's the rub, isn't it? Guns are evil, therefore only the cops and military should have guns... NOT private individuals.

How many genocides have been perpetrated by private citizens? None. How many holocausts? Zero. How many ethnic cleansings? Zip. No, it's always that benevolent government that goes on the REAL killing spree, yet Costas is worried about one athlete and his murdered girlfriend.

And, never mind that our founding fathers INSISTED on the second amendment as a means of preventing said benevolent government from going on a similar rampage in this country. Me thinks that is what and why so many leftists/progressives are so focued on gun control and banning the gun. When that time arises, they don't want armed resistance. That and they live in perpetual fear of retalliation against their actions - which tells me the KNOW how wrong they are and simply want to blindly pursue their utopian dream unimpeded regardless.

I agree with you completely! "Criminals prefer unarmed victims" (Won't THEY be surprised when they sneak into MY house!)
Bob Costas, just a few days after giving a cultural soliloquy during a halftime break regarding the murder/suicide of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher, and the need to eradicate our society from guns, has managed to continue his elitist climb, claiming that the "audience" is to blame for the follow-up brouhaha about his comments.

Like a good elitist, Costas is blaming his audience.

On the Sunday broadcast between the Cowboys and the Eagles, while quoting and paraphrasing an anti-guns creed from sports writer and wannabe 2nd Amendment Bon Vivant Jason Whitlock, Costas stated (amongst other things):
