exactly - the GOP is just a microcosm of "parenting" in our culture - parents want to be popular and well liked rather than doing the hard work to train up the next getneration in the way they should go. WAKE UP - tough love should have started Nov 7 - most of those posting here and on other conservative bent sites are just a culpable for this mess because they endulge ther=ir children - if your kids don't "hate" you until they are at least 25 years old - you are a failing parent

Well, nice try - all fiscal problems are tied to social problems...all of the biggest spending debacles of our govt are tied to social programs - as in the idea that the govt can enforce charity and care for our fellow man - this is only done succesfully on the individual level. I laugh at you "geniuses" who say you are fiscal conservatives but social liberals - you fight against yourself...
