Cheap labor for sure. If it is "legal", then SS will receive much needed funding. FICA on a massive amount of cheap labor will add up and help finance the SS ponzi scheme. As far as hispanic vote, that may backfire as many hispanics are anti-invasion. They or their parents and grand parents came here legally, so they find the current flood offensive.

No. However, outlawing abortion may be a good start :)

Exactly my point @ 8:19. It wasn't just the pill, it was also abortion. SS failure is the unintended consequence of abortion. Over 55 million Americans have been killed. They would have kept SS going just fine for years.....

If they are legal and not paid under the table anymore, then they will pay taxes. I do not agree with the idea of open borders. I think it is horrible. I am just saying that this may be the irrational reason behind the pols allowing the invasion.

When FDR instituted the SS system, he had no idea that two things would happen in the future: birth control pills and legal abortion. The reduction of the birthrate is why SS is failing. Now only 2 people are supporting one retiree. The politicians of today are opening the borders to allow aliens to enter so that SS can be saved. They think that if more people can be paying taxes and SS, it will be 16 people supporting one again. This, to me, is obviously why the borders are open...
Here is the real reason why Social Security is a failure. It also tells why Amnesty is the solution. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZmDHv_e4NA&feature=plcp

FTC vs. Skechers: Overhyped Meets Overkill

Interesting. Skechers ripped off the MBT design for aerobic workout shoes. I use MBT's and they are great. I tried on Shape-ups and found them to be inferior to MBT's. They are half the price of MBT's but don't function as well. MBT must be very happy with the situation. MBT does not hype their product. Word of mouth is what promotes their design.
