Insurance companies exist to make a PROFIT by inserting themselves between and your doctor, betting they can get you to give them more money for them to pay your medical bills and pocket the rest-than you would have voluntarily chosen to,pay for it directly. In other words, et you to give them more money than your health care is really worth to you. The more a person pays to.a 3rd party, the more they see it as "free" and they start over utilizing it in the belief seeing a dr while healthy will insure their continued health when it means no such thing. The more healthy people flooding the system, the longer those who NEED it must wait to be seen which means they get sicker and more difficult to cure. We all end up losers and suckers.
