I don't remember any other administration constantly attacking the citizens, although the Clintons targeted private citizens part of the time. I think the Repubics should use Armendariz' words and embrace a 'Crucify Them' theme at every opportunity during this campaign. I don't want to ever hear the insults and disrespect shown by this bunch of clowns again. I don't appreciate Chris Christie's smart mouth, either. I emailed Romney about this because his mouthing is also inappropriate.
Frequent readers of my column might be surprised to see that I am defending Al Armendariz, the newly resigned EPA Administrator of Region 6. In his recently revealed “crucify” comments, Armendariz was merely reflecting the view from the top—though the exact word choices may have been his own. Yet, Al, alone, is taking the fall. He resigned on April 30 and his resignation was immediately accepted by EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson.
