In response to:

Obama Gives GOP a Bailout

Exactly how much leverage does the GOP congress and their leadership have? They own 1/3rd of the government, where the other 2/3rd with Reid tabling any and all bills passed in the House and an arrogant President who won't even be civil to the GOP leadership. Then we have the gun toting, pot smoking, pro abortion, conspiracy theory libertarians dividing the conservative movement...Please libertarians, move to the Democratic party, divide their vote, you are the reason WHY, we will continue to elect socialist Democrats. You just don't , Ron Paul was in the primary, and he was rejected by being too far out of the main stream for rational conservatives. Libertaries and those of you who sat out the election, you own this mess.

Somehow, Kathleen, I don't recognize libertarians from your description of them as pot smoking and pro-abortion. I consider myself a conservative-libertarian and I have never smoked pot and am adamantly anti-abortion. As for gun toting, that is something to be proud of.
As for conspiracy theory, what is the advantage of being a coincidence theorist? Ron Paul was not my choice entirely based on his foreign policy. I had no problem with his domestic policies.

I'm not talking about the Libertarian Party, Kathleen, nor did you say you were. Ron Paul did not run as a Libertarian, but as a Republican.

Exactly. It may be true that the Libertarian Party leadership is pretty far out in the ether, but libertarian-leaning Republicans, Democrats, and independents seem to be a potentially winning coalition that's just waiting for leadership. They have enough common ground to justify a give-a-little, get-a-little understanding.

While fellow conservatives bash the president for telling Speaker of the House John Boehner that the country doesn’t have a spending problem, I offer Barack Obama another thank-you.

Just when I thought that the GOP’s own ineptitude was going to sink the party, the man-who-would-be-president proved once again that when it comes to being out of touch, you can’t get any better than the First Community Organizer.

Led by Barack Obama and the Democrats, Congress passed a budget plan that doesn’t even do what they said it would- keep taxes lower for anyone not a millionaire or billionaire.

So, now...
