While that may be a factor, I think it says "slackers come to the USA". I think one of the reasons behind the "why" they work harder, is that in impoverished countries, it often doesn't matter how hard you work. You will never reap the rewards you can here in the US. The potential for better quality of life is in itself a motivating factor, no?

I'm SO glad I don't watch what's popular on TV these days. I feel really up to date watching the new "V" series :-P There are sometimes a few gems in the cesspool of television.

I thought "how very sad" when I heard the extent of his affairs. I don't know if his wife was totally in the dark (in this case I feel especially bad for her), she had some inkling of what was going on, or was completely aware & upset when he took it to far (??) I too think of his children & how a separation/divorce will affect them :(
