yup - to think that his affairs weren't vetted when he was appointed to the job is ludicrous. at that time it was convenient for him to be the cia director, now not so much. i'm sure he was told by axelrod - if you don't take the fall for herr obama over bengahzi we'll expose your affair. petraues saw the writing on the wall, resigned & told on himself. now axelrod told him - we don't care that you toldt he world about your affairs - even better - but again you'd best take the fall for b'rack or else we'll destroy the rest of yoiur life. petraues is just getting everything in order & buying time before he says "yup all my fault"

The affair that was discovered "by chance" just days before General David Petraeus was to testify before Congress about the 9/11 terrorist attack in Benghazi keeps getting uglier by the day. First, his testimony about the attack has been placed "on hold" until further notice.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have questions for former CIA Director David H. Petraeus about the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, his recently disclosed extramarital affair and other issues — but their queries will have to wait for a later date.
