Hopefully the participants have at least assuaged their consciences for a while. They have no interest in actually minimizing the incidence of abortion. If they had, they would be out in support of free pre-natal care and free contraception, measures that actually have a demonstrable effect on lowering the rate of induced abortions. Legal limitations on the access to abortion will work about as well as Prohibition and the "war on drugs".

Actually, we do. Many of us are involved in ministries to needy mothers. Why do you lie?

I agree. They would also not object to their taxes going to support all the babies that are abandoned, abused, or chronically ill.

Pro-life supporters gathered on the National Mall in Washington on Friday as part of the March for Life, an annual rally held in remembrance of the Supreme Court’s 1973 ruling on Roe v. Wade that permitted the practice of abortions.
