they say "better late than never", in McGovern's case it is not better, it is useless when so much damage was inflicted by him and the people who put him in a position when he was able to inflict so much pain on so many of us. indeed, he should not only speak at the republican convention, he should make a public mea culpa and warn others not to give obama the opportunity to repeat what he has done to this country. that will be a real "morning in america", but i am afraid i am dreaming.
