this is not a question of left , it is a question of competence. i think Hagel is totally off his rocker. he is wrong on every point, on Iran's nuclear capability, on Israel, on the Palestinians, he seems to be unable to form an opinion that is rational and intelligent. there must be so many more competent and capable candidates to the position of Sec. of Defense but there must be something obama sees in Hagel, i think it is something sinister or unpalatable. i cannot explain it any other way.

Yes it is virtually insane to listen to the CIA when they tell us that there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that Iran is building a bomb. It is insane to put fidelity to the US interests over those of Israel. It is INSANE to realize that the USSR is defunct and has been for decades and that maybe we don't need to defend Europe from a potential Soviet attack.

We need more "incompetent" people like Hagel in Office. Because HE is more in touch with reality than you are.
