i do not know how old you are, but your parents did not think that way or they would not have had you. the reason we see fewer babies being born is that the economy is shrinking on purpose, so young people have no jobs, and the blame belongs totally to the democrats!!!

When my parents had me there was more reason to hope for americas future. So I have no anomosity towards them as they really could not have known. And I've had some great times in life, so I am grateful that they had me.
Now these days america's future doesn't look bright at all. No way am I going to do that to a child. The government will just have to look elsewhere for new worker "property."

IN addition, due to technological advances in the field of communication, personal privacy is certain to become a thing of the past. No way would I have a child in a world where they would be denied one of the most basic parts of human dignity-privacy.

The parents of the Draft horse, if they had intelligence and could see the future, might never have borne the colt. He worked himself to death and was sent to the glue factory.
Children are an investment in the future, and in Hope.
Our major public policies are based on the assumption that America will continue to enjoy growth. Economic growth and population growth.

Through most of our history, this assumption has proved to be correct. These days, not so much.

Last week, the Commerce Department announced that the gross domestic product shrunk by 0.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012. And the Census Bureau reported that the U.S. birth rate in 2011 was 63.2 per 1,000 women age 15 to 44, the lowest ever recorded.

Slow economic growth and low population growth threaten to undermine entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicare....
