My comment continues. We want to control other countries vast resources because we are a greedy nation! Turn this situation around. How would any of you that condone these killings like it if China, Iraz or any of the other countries were over here bombing innocents with drones? Or telling us how to run our country; although our current administration is doing a sorry job of that! We wouldn't like it at all. No country has threatened us because they know our military is too powerful but we sure have threatened, bombed and killed many in their countries. Wake up and do your research before you speak! Read the Constitution!

Ron Paul NEVER said other countries "hate us for freedom"; I have heard that comment but don't recall where from but not Ron Paul. He says our intervention is causing blowback because we are making other countries hate us because of our interference in their business which is none of ours! How many countries that we have been sending foreign aid to have said they hate us? Many! It is not our place to tell other countries how to run their government and maybe they would like to make their own decisions about that. All we have done is prop up dictators and kill many innocent men, women & children and for what???

Nope, Joan is totally correct; maybe you should do some more research on Newtie! He has many failing qualities and one of them is being a great liar! Maybe that's why he hesitates before speaking; he wants to be sure he says what the crowd wants to hear. Romney is FOR big government, was FOR TARP/BAILOUTS, FOR NDAA, FOR the un-Patriot Act, supported by Goldman Sachs, Wall Street, same people that supported Obama, FOR more wars that are killing innocent lives of Americans and in other countries, etc., etc. Obamacare was modeled after Romneycare and though Romney has said over & over & over "we need to repeal Obamacare" now he is backtraching - flip-flopping as he has done all through the debates. He likes the Federal Reserve which is the real problem in America, he likes Geitner & Bernake. Do your research. We had our chance at one that told us the truth and the sheeple have flown it!

And I read an article in the Houston Chronicle by a reporter that I normally totally agree with that was talking these same points; hardship for the poor & minorities and there was very little voter fraud. And, I got on my computer and told him my thoughts which match yours but have not heard back from him; hmmm they can dish out these false article but can't admit being wrong. These same people have to find a way to do other normal daily activities and voting is a privilege and a responsibility so if they really want to vote they will take care of business. Where there's a will, there's a way.
