I heard somewhere that just before she testified her multi-million campaign debt was retired. Now just how did that happen?

Thanks to 50+ years of dumbed down public education - courtesy of our liberal educational system and political allies. Sad, sad, sad.

Frogman, I think you have clarified the distress that I have been feeling over the goings on in our nation's capitol. I could not have stated it more accurately if I had tried. Thank you!

The Constitutional requirements are that a person be a "natural born" citizen. His parents were not born in America, therefore, Rubio is not "natural born". Neither is Bobby Jindal.
Doesn't sound like the action of someone in serious negotiations!

Women did not routinely risk their lives to secure an abortion. They knew that it was dangerous then. Now they equate being legal with being safe. It is not. The back alley abortionist has merely acquired a shingle and moved it to the front door. There is no special training or license required to perform an abortion. It could be a dermatologist or other specialty or no specialty. Abortion is easy money for an abortion doctor. They always tell patients to go to a hospital if they have trouble, not to call the abortion mill for help. Too many women have died as a result of their "safe, legal" abortion.

Obama Versus Obama

My parents taught me from a very early age that life was not fair They also taught me that it was my responsibility to better myself through hard work and education and that it was up to ME to do so. I grew up very poor in the 50's and 60's. Never once have I looked to the government to provide for my well being. I have held jobs since the age of 15, and managed to put myself through college and earn four degrees. I also managed to raise all of my children to adulthood, and all have graduated from college without government assistance, and they all are productive members of society. I am involved in the community and church, productively employed in the business world. I don't feel that life has been unfair.
The whole point of Roe v Wade in 1973- was that it invalidated the laws which were in existence in state codes to protect life in the womb. The liberal heirarchy determined that the liberal state laws in places like NY, LA, etc., that opened the floodgates - making the accessability of abortion in all states and cities, an easier end run around the state codes. Additionally, subsequent court decisions tried to force everyone to pay for abortions as well. Legislation introduced by the late Congressman Henry Hyde stopped that practice, and the minions of Obama are trying to cut the brake cable on that strategy, so to speak, and throw our tax monies at abortion providers.
