NASA is a dinosaur and is one of many Govt funded programs that needs to put out of it's misery. Here's a dirty little secret, the military R&D (contractors, think tanks, DoD employees, etc.) has been responsible for most of the technological innovations; not NASA. I agree with their recent charter to reach out to the Muslim world--perfect, but defund them accordingly. NASA believers are in the same delusional boat as people still living in the JFK democrat days.
