Alarm bells are going off for labor unions around the country.
Four years after electing the most pro-labor president of the last half-decade, it looks like the scheme has backfired.
In 2008 and 2012 labor unions used everything, including a little body English, ballot stuffing and voter intimidation to elect a president who would bring the prestige of presidential backing to recruitment efforts for labor unions.

Their unsustainable demands chased the garment, tire, appliance, electronics, and steel industries out of the north and into the south, and then out of the country altogether. And this was long before they bankrupted GM and Chrysler.
Unions have never learned from this mistake, which has been made by union after union after union. Each union has, in succession, killed the goose that was laying all the golden egggs on which its members relied for their livelihood and retirement.
The only reason we still have unions is because the government can't ship its operations overseas.
