You have an excellent point there, kajun. Almost the same reason Obama chose Biden to be VP. But in the VP case, I am sure he was thinking of some redneck with a hunting rifle having him in the crosshairs. The redneck will think if he does this, Biden will be president. So then the redneck decides its not worth it.
