Just because the class is offered doesn't mean it's required. I am a Christian student enrolled in the Atheism and Unbelief course, and I chose to be so.
I am under authority and instruction and great faith-based leadership in my local church. I serve and connect and love the people I fellowship with. I don't need to take a Theism and Belief course to teach me what my pastors and small groups do better, by actually doing life with, and caring about me.
I am interested in this course to see why atheists reason the way they do - and regardless of whether I agree or not - I will undoubtedly encounter other atheists with the same reasonings in my Christian walk. This class will help me be able to relate to them better, on a...
