Trick question, Amy--- all of them are... just like a rock, a pair of scissors, a plastic bag, a strand of piano wire, a tire iron, a candlestick, etc. Anything one can use to "assault" another with is an "assault" weapon. I wish the Left would stop changing the language to suit its needs/agendas. More so, I wish people would stop buying into the semantics game, and demand proper clarity. If the gun control crowd means "fully automatic" weapons they should say so (which, are already restricted, heavily). If they mean "assault" weapons, they need to be prepared to have their home versions of the game "Clue" taken away from them, as well as pretty much everything else than could be used as an "assault" weapon, including digits and/or limbs.
Since so many in the media cannot resist turning every tragedy into a political talking point, it was perhaps inevitable that (1) someone would try to link the shooting rampage at the Batman movie in Colorado to the Tea Party, and that (2) some would try to make it a reason to impose more gun control laws.

Too many people in the media cannot seem to tell the difference between reporting the news and creating propaganda.

NBC News apparently could not resist doctoring the transcript of the conversation between George Zimmerman and the police after the Trayvon Martin shooting. Now ABC News took...
