Is Thinking Obsolete?

Thinking is unnecessary in a "progressive" world. What one "feels" trumps critical thinking and logic. The K-12 public schools are cultivating a climate of nurture over nature; self-expression and awareness over education. The stage is set for our society (with the exception of those ordained to make and enforce policy) to become complete idiots, who make all of their decisions in life based on their emotions. The oligarchy knows that it is easier to control those whose emotions can be played like a harp. We have lost (or are quickly losing) two of the things that make man the superior life form on Earth--- the ability to reason and solve complex problems, and God.
I'm tired of jerks who continually spam and/or post cut-and-paste things that having nothing to do with the columns at TH, or promote their own blogs or newsletters. Ever wonder why it is that you have to keep logging in with a new username? Flagged... again.

That sound you hear is the sucking sound that follows every time Allison posts something even more inane than her last idiotic post. Good grief, I feel for her family.
You have to be the single most ignorant, morally deficient, undereducated and/or misinformed person ever. It's a pity that you will never see that. No matter how obvious the truth is, you (and people like you) will burn your bras, stick your fingers in your ears, and start a chorus of "We Shall Overcome," actually KEEPING the world from progressing. People like you have taken this whole country to the brink of a fall that will rival the fall of the Roman Empire... and you do it with a smug smile on your faces. Though it doesn't matter to you (as a person who mocks faith, let alone chooses not to believe in a higher power), there is a special place reserved for you after this life. Pure ignorance.

Virginia Officially Becomes Voter I.D. State

That, in itself, is frightening enough; but when you add the recent push to grab and/or limit the ability of private citizens to own firearms, it's a nightmare scenario, waiting to play out. It amazes me that progressives cannot see the danger in supporting this kind of behavior from the government. If the shoe happened to be on the other foot and Republicans were in power making a federal move like this, they'd be screaming at the top of their lungs. This is a danger to us all, and many people in this country are walking around with their fingers in their ears.

Pretty sure Illinois will be next to require ID to vote. Only problem for me is, I don't have the EBT card that will be the preferred form of identification.
I did answer your question. You asked for an honest answer, and I gave one. You still do not see that this is pointless, but I do. Last time I'm commenting on it. I do pity you.
Cite where "Cons" ever said any of this. The problem with people like you is that you constantly play on words to dupe people who are of similar or lesser intelligence than you. It's a shame that so many in America (including the press) get fished in, and actually believe the nonsense you spout.
And the typos are the result of rheumatoid arthritis. Does arthritis make it difficult to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills? Should I wait to hear what Hitler thought about the subject, or all-knowing Liberals?
I like dogs. Hitler liked dogs. God made dogs. God made man. Hitler was a man. God made water. Hitler drank water. I drink water. Some people think cucumbers taster better pickled. See how idiotic this is?
