While I totally agree with Dr. Carson's comments, there's a time and place for everything, and this was NOT the time for a political speech. I agree with Cal Thomas in this regard. It reminds me a bit of Obama criticizing Paul Ryan's budget plan while Ryan was a captive audience, unable to respond. I think that conservatives should act appropriately, even though the other side doesn't. There must have been another place and time that Dr. Carson's extremely intelligent, articulate, and spot-on voice could have been heard, other than a prayer breakfast.

According to Cal Thomas, well-known nationally syndicated columnist, Dr. Ben Carson owes President Obama an apology.

Carson spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC this past week – a bi-partisan annual event held since 1953, attended by members of Congress and usually the President.

President and Mrs. Obama were present this year and Thomas feels that Dr. Carson was out of line for including in his remarks comments about areas considered public policy – our national debt, our tax system, our publics schools, and health care.
