ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK: Efforts to provide personal safety for oneself as well as ones family can be reduced to either accepting the responsibility or not. Over the past 55-60 of my 75 years my choice was to go armed; that while in Mayor Daley's crime center where only the criminal element is armed, Chicago, that back in the early 1960s. It was then and still is to some degree depending on where you live or travel a choice you make as to whether you abide by some restrictive law that renders you defenseless or you assume the risk of being prosecuted by OUR INFAMOUS INJUSTICE SYSTEM of the government's power that is. If you were involved in a desperately violent situation would you want to be armed and protected or left empty handed?

If it were me--a responsible 22 year old woman--I sure wouldn't want to be found in harms way without a way to defend myself, no matter what the location.

Two people--a faculty member and an additional victim (likely a student)--were violently murdered at Casper College in Wyoming this morning. The college spokesman, Rich Fujita, told reporters that a crossbow and another similar weapon were used in the attacks.
