Science alone IS access to truth. The pursuit of truth is the very definition of science. It is not a stupid study. If you take one little step outside your biased, conservative tabloids like this piece of trash website, you'll find PLENTY of detailed explanations for the research and its significance. A corporate CEO makes up to millions a year. You're complaining that government money paid less than $100,000 a year split between several researchers and their equipment and laboratory costs?

For the past four years, American taxpayers have paid nearly $400,000 so that Yale University could study the sexual conflict of waterfowl and “plasticity in duck penis length.”

The National Science Foundation awarded Yale University $384,949 for a study on “Sexual Conflict, Social Behavior and the Evolution of Waterfowl Genitalia.”

The discovery was first reported by CNSNews.com – and noted the grant was made available through President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
