Too bad Charles Payne isn't our Speaker of the House.

You take a regular level headed sensible fellow like Charles, and put him in Washington, in a position of great power, yet still under the influence of the powers that be, and I don't think it would be long before we'd have us another Owebama hugging, foot kissing loyal subject of the regime. Sort of like Christie. Let him stay where he is and keep him from the inevitable corruption of the political machine. I'd really miss his articles. Ya know?

If it was time for us to have a black president, why couldn't it have been Charles?

That's the Democrats' greatest fear. Look what they did to Herman Cain? With a conservative black candidate, they can't use the race card and can't automatically assume they'll get most of the black vote. Just watch next time any non-white conservative runs. The media will be falling all over itself to discredit that candidate so they can continue to push the falsehood that the GOP is just "old white guys" who hate minorities.
I read that Senator Mitch McConnell burst into laughter upon hearing Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner lay out President Obama's "Fiscal Cliff" plan. Here's the rub:

> $1.6 trillion in revenue
> $50.0 billion stimulus
> $400.0 billion in Medicare cuts

Unlike Susan Rice, who was sent in to fall on the administration's sword during the Benghazi cover up, Geithner isn't looking for his next government job. It makes him the perfect foil. He can actually go in with a straight face with a proposal so absurd that an old reserved guy like McConnell doubles over in hysterical disbelief. Some say this is how you begin...
