This myth of "everyone" NEEDS a college degree is and has been perpetuated by the very class of people who stand to "PROFIT" the most...as more and more individuals are passed through their systems. The educators and administrators themselves. It used to be we were told to get a high school diploma and at that time college was considered something for ONLY the brightest of minds. Then the push was for at least a two year technical program or associates degree..then it moved up to a four year degree. I remembe that when I was in my twenties I stated that "mark my word" one day the push would be that one MUST HAVE a Masters to be qualified. Then the educators began pushing the kids and pressuring the parents to SAVE money Like saving

In the governement schools of this day and age even kindergarteners are being indoctrinated to start planning for and pressing mommy and daddy and or grandma and grandpa fo come up with the money for thier continual educations. And with the loan programs...the grads are now about two stages away from indentured servitude to the government where they will be harrassed for decades unitl said loan...

Does it make sense for the government to take taxes from the big majority of Americans who never managed to win college degrees in order to subsidize the pricey education of the fortunate few who get to attend top universities?

Why is it fair to increase burdens on stressed-out working families so the feds can reduce future interest payments on student loans for members of the elite?
