We just experienced the effects of that. My wifes half sister just went into a manic phase a week ago. She was baker acted and released onto the street after seventy two hours and my wife spent the day chasing after her while tring to run her business. Finally took her to the police station and they Baker Acted her again...Unless court action is taken and won she will be back on the street again unsupervised...ragefull and totally out of control. Oh gee drugs will fix it. No they don't when they stop working she goes off this has been going on for decades....Yep lets ignore that elephant in the room and pretend GUNS are to problem.

The horror of the massacre of innocents at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. struck at the fabric of the American tapestry. Virtually every American has spent the last few days in a haze -- shocked at the nature of evil, confused and frustrated by the inability to prevent such an atrocity, fearful at the possibility of such a monstrous occurrence repeating itself.
