Make the Democrats Own the Obama Economy

I'm sure some jackbooted thugs, maybe most, work hard. It does not make what they do any more ethical or productive, nor does it make it any less parasitic. So, it doesn't matter whether you "work for a living." What matters is whether your pay comes purely from willing customers, or whether your pay is based on some sort of government force. And the waters there get pretty muddy. If you are living fat off of ethanol mandates, you are, to a large extent, a parasite on the truly productive. Even if you work your tail off growing corn, you are riding the wave of coercion by government guns. Your customers come to you because they are forced, not because they choose your product. Think about it.

One bright spot of Barack Obama's re-election was knowing that unemployment rates were about to soar for the precise groups that voted for him -- young people, unskilled workers and single women with degrees in gender studies. But now the Democrats are sullying my silver lining by forcing Republicans to block an utterly pointless tax-raising scheme in order to blame the coming economic Armageddon on them.

Democrats are proposing to reinstate the Bush tax cuts for everyone ... except "the rich." (Why do only tax cuts come with an expiration date? Why not tax increases? Why not...
