It's better to stick with the devil you know than the devil you don't know. Besides it also a known fact that Al Quida is in bed with the Libyan rebels, so in essence it was Al Quida that brought down Gaddafi with US aid. What is good for Al Quida is not good for the US

on the government to do so. When we become dependent on the government to protect us then the government has the ability to do as it pleases in the name of security. Benjamin Frankiln said it best when he said that "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." G W Bush put us on the edge of the slippery slope that Obama has taken us down. G W Bush may be the least of the 2 evils between Bush & Obama, but it is not by much. I just hope that we can restore our republic to the land of the free and the home of the brave it once was when I was youngster. It was our freedoms that made us a great country, Id rather live free & poor than rich & a slave.

I'm sorry but as a libertarian/conservative I am still trying to figure out if Bush is the worst President or the 2nd worst President ever behind Obama. Yes it is the Presidents duty to protect the country, but that duty is secondary to protecting the Constitution. When the president takes the Oath of Office he takes an oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." That may seem a bit backward, but it is actually quite a beautiful arrangement. The reason why is because the Constitution gives the people the ability to defend ourselves and not depend on the government to do it. When the people of the United States have their rights striped from them that enable us to defend ourselves we then become dependent ..
