There are no silver linings...in the continued occupancy of the White House by an imposter. By himself, he is nothing. But with the 47% behind him along with the limousine liberals, he is a menace to the values and the wealth that decent people hold dear. If the only thing that was at stake was the economy, we might muddle through the next four years and then return to sanity. BUT...there's a lot more at stake when you consider his foreign policy and his socialist agenda. He will now put the pedal to the metal in accelerating our national descent into a "Euro Lite" version of socialism that drives the economy into the gutter. Which in turn takes down our ability to maintain our military supermacy around the world.

Re: P.P.S. Bush/Rove

Who knew that Bush's name would become an expletive deleted even for conservatives? His policies poured gasoline on the fire of massive debt. Then he doubled down on trying to buy the affections/votes of liberals everywhere by giving them more social spending on a Donut for drugs.

And Rove should just go away as his policies have already been repudiated and found lacking, yet he continues to strut on a national stage as if he has something useful to offer to the current politics at hand.

Last night was great. Two big victories, including a major comeback. Lots of drama, plenty of excitement. Here’s the bottom line: Notwithstanding chilly conditions and determined opposition, my Arlington County softball team cemented its hold on first place by sweeping a doubleheader. And I was 4-6 with a pair of doubles, so I managed to contribute.

Oh, wait, a few of you are interested in something else that happened last night…that’s right, there was an election. Before contemplating what this means for the nation, let’s quickly check my predictions.

  • Well, my presidential pick was fairly accurate. Even though people...
